Painted lady

I made a bit more effort for my blip today ... it's always worth leaving the house. After a cloudy morning, it had cleared up and the butterflies were out. I also spotted some goldfinches -- they were speeding past like bullets, but I managed to grab a shot from very far away (the proof, highly cropped, in extras).
