It feels like the trees have exploded into "greeny leafy-ness" over the past week or so.

This was taken on one of my favourite stretches in and around Pitlochry - part of the road from the Cuilc to Moulin.

I was on my way back from a meeting of my (other) bookgroup in the theatre.  Our book was The Years by Annie Ernaux (which I'd previously read for Bookgroup. Reactions were mixed.

I came across a fledging chaffinch on my way down to the theatre - I was worried about it being on our road and I tried to "shoo" around the corner. It complied only to go back onto the busier road. However it also demonstrated that it could fly so hopefully it will be OK.
