Cascade Dietrich

The rain was forecast for the afternoon so we restricted the walk to the morning and kept it local. As we have had quite a lot of rain recently, I decided that we should walk up to the Cascade Dietrich which is rather inaccessible but quite impressive. We were quite lucky to see eagles and a salamander. We returned via the Pic d'Alzina and were back just before the heavens opened. Altogether we walked 8 kilometres with 380 metres of ascent. We finished the walk with chantilly coffee and biscuits back at ours.
