Veins and Bokeh

The canine was in for a session at the dog palour so after Mother had had her palour hour we went for a coffee at a new cafe in Maori Hill - a hillside suburb of Dunedin - and then for a walk around the tracks in the Woodhaugh Gardens. These gardens are a bite of old native forest and always a pleasure to meander through. Fresh green air, fabulous bird song, native flora to identify and hardly a sound from daily life on the streets just meters away.
I do not know the name of the bush this leaf was from but loved the detail exposed by being in the sunlight and the contrast with the bokeh in the background.
