Smiles all round!

For the second year running, I acted as judge in the poetry section of South Hams Writers' Annual Awards. I used to be a member (and was chairman for three years) of the Kingsbridge group, so it was lovely to see old faces, and meet new members, at this evening's presentation dinner.

Took this pic of the secretary and her friend and thought their happy faces highly blipworthy. This lovely lady, who was once a professional dancer - and one of "Doddy's diddymen"! - has suffered so many tragedies in her life and yet remains such a cheerful, warm, upbeat person. And it shows in her face, doesn't it!
