The Original....

We were in Leeds today to get bits and pieces for the forthcoming tour and to see what the Rohan sale had to offer. Heading back to the station I wished we had been a few minutes earlier because the entire England Women's Rugby League team emerged from the Bourse where they looked as if they had been using the gym/pool. Unfortunately they move at speed so I only got a blip of their backs as they disappeared down the street, presumably to training? No idea what they were doing in Leeds.

Tony managed to find some sensibly priced stop watch batteries in Leeds Market (One shop was going to charge for installation even though we didn't want them installed!) and we had a quick look at the M & S Heritage Stall.

This afternoon we are making strawberry jam as the neighbours are all stuffed to the gills with fruit! Big difference from last year when they were slugged or rotted due to the foul weather (the strawberries that is, not the neighbours!)

Back in June Tony brought his hanging baskets down from the greenhouse. Here they are five weeks on!
