Nancy Lake Marina

The Nancy Lake Marina and Resort has been here for decades, the one and only service marina on the lake.

The gassing dock here is for both boats and float planes, thus the wind socks.

There is not much human activity here yet. The lake is only scarcely inhabited until the end of May. The quiet is relaxing and pleasant.

I am wanting to take some photos of the lake birds, but will have to wait for some better daylight to use a telephoto lens. I have seen Red Necked Grebes, Bonaparte's Gulls, and Mallards on the lake. I can hear the Loons but haven't found them yet.
