Raspberry has a shocking ride coming up, 7 hours in her cat case in the backseat. Max will rule the home front with his beloved sitter.

Made it safe and sound to the old homestead.It was very hot, but the wind has blown in from the sea and we're sitting out on the deck overlooking the tidal Machias River drinking cold bottles of Shipyard Ale. We haven't been outside at home for a week due to the unbelievable heatwave. We just spotted a Bald Eagle across the river. I see the makings as well of an evening fog bank. I do love a good atmospheric fog.
