Island Paradise

Another day spent exploring this beautiful island, we followed lanes banked by beautifully made stone walls, walked paths through limestone pavements and wild flowers, came across white sand beaches where we swam in cool turquoise water. an island paradise which in these hot temperatures evoked memories of a time in my childhood growing up on the Balearic island of Menorca another island of rocky limestone, cleared fields, donkeys and a unique island culture. This was back in the 1960's!
