Arts Fest

Today was the annual Arts Fest in our downtown. Despite the prediction for rain and cool temperatures and possibly some thunder, it was a beautiful day. Lots of people turned out to browse and even to buy: pottery, paintings, handmade jewelry, and more. All the downtown stores were open, the main streets were closed off, and everyone had a good time wandering, shopping, and talking to friends who were doing the same.

About yesterday's blip: I didn't hear anything more about the swimmers, so I assume they all got home safely. I can't help but wonder if their parents knew they were swimming in the rough water and undertow.
