View from the Lighthouse

This is an early morning shot from the top of the Mackintosh designed tower at the Lighthouse in Glasgow. The former Glasgow Herald Building is Scotland's Centre for Architecture and Design.

You can get some of the best views of Glasgow if you climb the 134 steps to the top of Mackintosh tower. It might be hard work climbing to the top, but at least you'll be rewarded with some spectacular views of the city.

I love the shadow of the tower on the car park below. Worth looking large.
