Speed!

Pete proves him self to be an exemplary friend on many occasions.

Today was one of these occasions.

Yesterday we hired a Ford Transit Van in order to move some of my parents house contents into storage. The Transit had the aerodynamic properties of a garden shed and the gear ratio's of a basket of baguettes on a Frenchman's bicycle.

The 10 minute run from the hire company to home last night had Peter was cursing.

Nevertheless at 8am this morning he was up and ready to drive us to Macclesfield and back, with only box lugging to look forward to in between.

It took us 10 hours in all but was a good job well done.
