Japan - Day Eight

An unforgettable experience -- mostly due to the humor and genius of our sushi chef seen here (Takeshi) in one of the oldest restaurants (1932) in Kyoto (which we discovered purely by chance)

My Mr. Dawdler and Mr. Yamomoto were a sight to behold -- they were like long lost buddies, almost immediately. They could finish each other's sentences -- in two areas of life - sports and jazz. All it took was one word from my hubby and Takeshi would take off on a joyful rant filled with an remarkable knowledge -- and this joyful conversation took place for a remarkable couple of hours all while Takeshi prepared gorgeous sushi for us.
