Nor'wester 3

This shot was taken from the same place as yesterday's blip.

Day three of the nor'wester. It has turned nasty now. The gusts are stronger and the trees roar like a big jet flying low. All day the mountains have been enveloped in snow clouds. The wind filtering through those clouds is vicious.

Nevertheless, out of the wind, the temperature is still a little higher than normal and there are no branches blown from the trees. It's not bad really.

I've used my binoculars to check that there's nothing of mine snagged on a downwind fence. It has caught a blue tarpaulin and a huge sheet of something that is bright yellow.

The weather forecast is for a sou'west change and snow at my level. So, it could all be back to normal tomorrow.
