Goats

Goats such as these wander freely around much of Crete. In the 9 days we've been here we've driven almost 1000km. I've lost count of the number of times we've rounded a bend only to find a goat or two in the middle of the road and had to take avoiding action. We saw these 2 on a hillside just where we had parked the car!!

A great day so far. We went to the village of Fodele this morning where there were old ladies making macramé bags. Lucy treated herself to one as a reminder of her holiday. I did ask the lady for a photo but as she was sitting in the shade it hasn't come out very well. Then we went to a small beach for an hour and then to Panorma for something to eat. Back at the villa now and time for a swim before getting ready to go out. I'm not sure I can eat another meal today!!!

Our last full day tomorrow and an early start planned so better not have too much wine tonight ;))
