The cloud before the heat

I walked Jasper in the relative cool, and then decided that I needed to spend a bit longer in the village house than we've usually got time for and so I walked to the house, taking my lunch with me as there's no fresh food there at all. So now to deal with all those emails that I never get time for, so I'd better go!
