There are

advantages and disadvantages to everything and Facebook is no exception, but just lately I seem to have upset two of my ex-friends in Spain (sigh) and given that I don't really want to read all the (mostly) mindless stuff that's posted (sorry family and friends, but you know what I mean) just for the sake of having access to photographs, I've deactivated my account.
Again.
Let me see if I can leave it like that for ever this time.

p.s. apparently Fb accounts can be deleted permanently, but you have to contact them.
