Glut

Clockwise from top left: the tree from above; underneath the tree when I got up (about nine-hours’ worth); some of what we harvested when we got back from London last night; the apples from Saturday that we didn’t have time to process before we left for London at mid-day so which went into the fridge.

Today we have made apple purée, apple juice, stewed apple, dried apple, Eve’s pudding and there is some apple leather in the oven now. There is a help-yourself box outside the gate and a delivery man took five. We have roughly as many apples at the end of the day as we did at the beginning.
