Saturday 1 August 2009: Saturday morning breakdown
Oh, the ignomy of it all... Not quite how I'd planned to spend this morning, being rescued by the AA from a local shopping centre after the hydraulics on the clutch packed up.
Still, looking at it from a glass-half-full rather than a glass-half-empty perspective, it could have been much worse, both in terms of where and when it could have happened. The irony of it is that I had literally just come from the garage having had something else sorted.
And much as we love the old Volvo, it's beginning to look like we need something that's not showing its mechanical age quite so much.
