Garden Visit

Twelve members of our local garden club headed over to Stromness today and visited four amazing gardens over there. There were all very different from each other, but all had had hours of love and labour ploughed into them.

It was a glorious hot and sunny day, perfect for wandering around, admiring the planting and the flowers, the fruit and the trees, the ponds and the greenhouses. We came away with lots of photos and ideas and full of inspiration.

I was very taken with this wonderful green house/conservatory/orangery. A perfect place to sit with a long cool glass of something!
