Filterama Monday

Week four of The Great Filterama Challenge  by Hobbs and riversider. I really like the effect of the invert filter today, it was so quick to use.

The process is:
- open image in Photoshop Elements
- click on filter, adjustments and invert,

And.....there you have it!

Turns the image inside out creating the trees and sign to stand out against the now golden sky. Give this one a try, it's so quick and easy, with a really cool effect.

Daughter A and I took hubby clothes shopping today and we came home with plenty. He'll be looking very smart for an end of year function for Daughter A at uni, now I just need to get myself sorted.......

On our way home we stopped in Kaiapoi where this shot was taken. The Mandeville Bridge is a footbridge which was constructed in 1874 to allow school children to walk to the nearby Kaiapoi School. It was damaged in the Christchurch earthquakes but has since been restored.

Thank you all so much for the lovely words for Daughter E, she arrived safely yesterday at 7am Australian time, spent some time at the zoo, found where her course is held and looked round a shopping mall - fairly settled I'd say. Today, the first day of her course is on desserts, I'll hear later tonight how it went.
