Hasty

We're at the One New Man conference in Gloucester this weekend, part of the beginnings of the Regions Beyond family of churches.

Steve can hardly wait for the Fishes to be converted into a custom Bean-worthy carrier. We walked to the meeting this morning and because it was a fair distance we wrapped both boys and carried them there. They loved it, but the quick march and the not so great slightly hasty wrap jobs took their toll on our shoulders and backs!

I spent the morning in creche, was volunteered to be team leader, and loved the morning. Lunch was utterly stressful in a cafe where the boys couldn't let off steam where the food took an era to arrive and was cold when it did, but the afternoon fun in the park was lovely - if a little chilly! We walked back to Tim and Ana's past the sally army shop and Stever persuaded us to go in, with the intention of getting me some cold weather clothes as I'd only packed for the summer. We walked out with cuddly toys for the boys and a nice jacket for Steve. Oh well.

The evening meeting was great, some challenging words, and Steve blessed me by keeping the boys occupied outside all evening while I was able to sit in and listen! Home via tesco for emergency meat and salad and avocado, by hometime I was starving...
