A Man for all seasons

My co-conspirator in the production of "Hebrides", the photo companion book to the Lewis Trilogy. David Wilson took the 200+ photographs in the book, and I confidently predict that no one will look at them without being completely blown away.

I first met David nearly 20 years ago when I employed him as my designer on the Gaelic drama serial, Machair. Originally from Edinburgh, David fell in love with Lewis and ended up living there after his retiral.

David took part in the programme I recorded today for BBC Radio Scotland, to be broadcast next month ahead of their dramatization of The Blackhouse.

And on top of that it was his birthday! Happy birthday, David!
