Underneath

Went outside to to start my early morning tai chi practice (got to take advantage of the good weather and light mornings whilst I can) and nearly stood on this fungi growing in the middle of the grass.

I found myself moving over to leave enough room for the wee shroom and whilst doing so questioned why? I mean, I stand on daisies every day and don't give them a second thought so why bother about this uninvited plant? I guess there is something both fragile and at the same time determined about the way fungi appear out of nowhere for such a short time that I reckon I should give them a chance. Whereas the daisies are taking over the lawn and don't need any help from me.
