The seasons turn

Down at the allotment things are beginning to look a little weary, still plenty of beans but the leaves of the courgettes plants are silvery and brittle. The heavy rain of last weekend is now a memory so it's back to the watering.

A gentle sort of day today - at least after going to the gym, time to read the newspaper and potter for the afternoon before going to Doreen's for supper.

This is not our patch, its just a general view of the site from near the gate.
