Crazy day...

Had to make up glazes today which isn't my favorite thing to do...so messy, and lots of lugging containers of chemicals around....anyhoo....turns out i was out of a particular chemical and because i didn't pay very close attention in our glaze chemistry classes at college, i had no idea how to substitute it! luckily i have my very own version of Wikipedia....Jon at Pottery Supply House! Having been assured by him that by making a substitution the glaze won't run off the pot, it just might look a bit bluer, a little less this and little more that....i'm feeling a certain amount of trepidation when i use it tomorrow, on a small dinner ware order, due next week, 3 days before the wedding. And all this 4 days before i head out to BC! oh well, what's the worse thing that can happen....she won't like the pieces and i won't get paid!

In other news...had a wonderful evening paddle with the Mammos......exhilarating it was! Then a lovely dinner at a local pub and my book!
