Farewell Words

I enjoyed this* and other writings at Reykjavik Airport today that reflect the city's status as a UNESCO City of Literature, along with Edinburgh, Dublin, Melbourne (Australia), Iowa City (USA), and Norwich (England).

We're home in Bellingham now, and this is a revision of my original blip for today, in which we said "goodbye for now" to a land and people we have come to love.
