Seeing

All around our pond, we have these wild weed-shrubs that grow at a lightning fast pace. We trim them down to the ground each spring, yet they're 1.5 meters high by summer's end. I've always thought of them as annoying, frustrating, and really nothing special. Today was the first time I ever saw the flowers they produce.
