Port Vale

Evidence that Stoke City Council's obesity strategy is not yet effective - some Port Vale fans celebrating their team's 3-2 victory today over the mighty Sky Blues. Sad to say that Vale achieved this by the underhand means of playing very well in the second half. Coventry were great in the first half but in the second our only chances to score came from unsuccessful free kicks and corners.

Nevertheless a good day out: pre-match pint(s) with, amongst others our friend Eptas at the superb Bull's Head, Burslem.
