Twilight's Last Gleaming

And the long road home to amber waves of grain... Dropped by Kristi's house tonight to exchange things we've borrowed from each other in the last few months. Everything she brought or acquired during her expat time is piled in her winter garden for the movers to pack and ship tomorrow. They fly on Friday morning. :( Another friend was due to get keys to her new home today - and we were meant to be celebrating with a glass of bubbly. But a technical screw-up has left her still houseless. She, too will have movers packing her things tomorrow. And hopefully we can toast in the evening. At least Emma is moving closer ... and not to another continent.
