Street art

Perfect fall day in NYC ... We walked the High Line which runs parallel to 10th Avenue on NY's west side. It utilizes an old raised rail line which is situated several stories above ground and is bordered by wildflower gardens. From the High Line you can look down in the West Village and the meat Packing District with glimpses of the Hudson River. And you can see some fabulous wall murals, like this one, representing the gritty street art that this part if the city is know for.

We had lunch at a local Irish Pub, accompanied by a spicy Bloody Mary - what better way to spend a beautiful fall day!

Today's shot is straight from the iPhone ...keeping it simple.

Happy Saturday!
