A riddle

A riddle wrapped in a mystery inside an enigma?

Or just a whippet wrapped in a towel inside a warm kitchen?

Onion, chorizo, garlic and sweet potato has been chopped and inserted into a large chicken and so the house is smelling terrific. Now all I need is the garage to call me back to tell me how many things are going to stop the car getting its MOT. As they couldn't start the bloody thing this morning and rang to get clearance for a diagnostics check (just £49.50 sir) I fear the worst.
