Sea lion ballet

Woke up feeling crappy after dinking a bottle of the ropy white wine on the boat. Almost didn't bother doing the dive, but as it was a sea lion dive and John wanted some footage I went along.
Good job as this was one of the best dives of the holiday. Spent an hour siting on the bottom while the sea lions came and played with us.
Still amazed at there agility underwater. Just like watching a ballet.
Came back to the boat and washed off the dive kit as we decided not to do the last dive and finish on a high.
Everything was washed and mostly packed away before we left the last dive site.
Turns out that was a good decision as the ride back to port was rough. Ended up sleeping on the deck while the sea sick tablets took the edge off. Must have been a good 3 to 4m swells and the skipper was running full pelt to get home.
Went to our bedroom when I woke up on my own on the back deck. Not the best place to be in the bows and every time we went down a large swell it boomed in the room and it felt like you left the bed. Bad night ahead

With the moment of the sea lions this will be my entry for the weekly challenge on MOVMENT. This image might change once I get back and have a look at the others as I have limited PC capability at the moment.

Dive 36
Las Vela
Start time
Max depth 11.4mm
Dive time 63 min
Temp 26

Back to the same sea lion spot we dived on the first day. Almost didn't go in as I had a bit of a hangover.
In and at the bottom and the sea lions were there immediately. Had an hour of fun playing with them
There was one that loved having her photos taken and would come down and pose for you with her fins on a rock.
One of the best dives of the holiday. Hope the video and photos come out
