oh it was a late night !

The party turned out to be at the home of an old friend of ours who we hadnt seen in a long while. So we thought we knew where we were going but it had been so long we had both forgotten the way and we got lost and were driving around for what seemed like hours.
Eventually we found it though and had a great catch up with lots of old mates, and met lots of young ones who we had known as children, and got introduced to all the girl's many and varied friends.
We quite enjoyed ourselves, and even had a bit of a bop, and all on nothing stronger than a cup of tea!

It was a remarkably mild, like a summer's night.

We left there in the wee small hours and got lost again on the way home. So it was all a bit of an adventure and wiped out today so I was glad when I woke to find it raining and knew I wouldn't be missing anything.

This afternoon we perked up and went to the beach to gather sea beet for dinner.
