wild weather

We've gone from summer to winter overnight. Yesterday's gale has stripped the trees, without waiting to let autumn colour them. Leaves everywhere.
Breezy and sometimes bright and with fiercely heavy showers. I was busy with bits and pieces all day but escaped to Toe Head for an hour to watch the high tide surge in and the squalls stalk across the horizon.
The wind was icy, I didnt stay long.
