Dining .....

..... with Spartan.

After two days of being cooped up at home with the swollen ankle, cabin fever had well and truly set in so at lunch time today I headed out on a mini road trip with Mr P and Mini P. We had lunch in a greasy spoon café in Otley, drove past the giant golf balls at Menworth Hill and stopped off at a mill complex in the middle of nowhere before heading to Skipton for a hot chocolate and then returning home to Ilkley.

This evening I've had a very enjoyable time in the company of Spartan, Mr M and Identity. Spartan had very kindly invited us around to his place for a lovely home cooked meal. We were treated to a delicious prawn curry with numerous tasty accompaniments. There was so much tasty food that everyone had seconds. Dessert was a lovely homemade cheesecake with figs that Spartans mum had sent over from Greece, drizzled in Greek honey.

It's been an evening of lovely food and drink, great company and interesting and varied conversations all held in a lovely cosy candle lit room at the top of the building with wonderful views over Ilkley and the moors. The blipped photo was taken from the roof garden looking in at the four of us. Thank you once again for a wonderful night N. I've added a few more photos from the day here, but today's blip has to be .....
