a helping hand...

"My dear Sienna, I hope there will always be a helping hand reaching out for you when you need it and you will have the wisdom to know when to accept it."

A very domestic day that involved flapjack, chicken pie and spiced apple cake, sorting out the winter clothes, homework, Hema beads, pretend shops, dancing to Radio 1, a poorly child, a friend over to play and some catch up copywriting for a client. Plus a walk to the river where I captured Sienna attempting a leap 'too far'!

My friend has returned to New Zealand - such a long, long way from 'home' I feel at times...
