Loch Gamhna

After a hearty breakfast we headed over to Nethy Bridge, and walked over the Moor of Feshie towards Inshriach Forest, passing Loch Gamhna and on to Loch an Eilein. From there we headed towards the Larig Ghru footpath and the Cairngorm Club Footbridge and then walked out the Larig Ghru footpath to Coylumbridge.

Had a wee break at the Woodshed Bar at the hotel, then walked into Aviemore. Picked up our small suitcase from the hotel, had a burger, and caught the last Gold Bus down to Glasgow.

Not as good a journey this time, the coach, although fine, was not as luxurious as when we travelled up, and because the coach starts at Inverness, all double seats were occupied and we had to sit separately. It was also very warm, and I don't cope well im such atmospheres. However, managed to nod off for a bit, and we did get our sandwich and shortbread.

C and K met us at Glasgow and took us home, which was so much appreciated as by this time we were tired, having walked eleven miles during the day.

Our weather was great, sunny in the morning, and dry although duller later. It started to rain in Aviemore five minutes before we caught our coach. The girls told us it has rained in Glasgow for the last two days.
