Solway storm

Today's the day ......................... for sunshine and showers

Lots of weather about today as we drove back to Kendal through Dumfries and Galloway.

You could see the dark clouds coming as you were bathed temporarily in sunshine - and then the heavens opened. The windscreen wipers were on - then off - then on again.

This is looking towards the Solway Firth - and the part of Galloway where I did a bit of geological mapping a few eons ago ...........................
