The North Sea raining on Amsterdam

We love that we can walk almost everywhere in Amsterdam. However, we had some errands that required the car. I was happy to be taking photos from inside our toasty warm Volkswagen Golf (the most common car in Amsterdam we were told and very similar to the one sitting in our garage in Burlington).

We have found that living close to sea makes for very variable fall weather. It is not uncommon to experience bright sunshine and downpours and everything in between several times within the space of an hour. I have decided that the only way to enjoy Amsterdam is to just go with it, dress for the weather, and stay somewhere warm on days like this!
