Thursday: Annual Conference

Not the best shot, perhaps, but definitely about my day.

This morning, I was invited to the opening of the ILGA Europe Conference which is taking place here in Zagreb.  A few years ago a conference of this nature wouldn't have been able to take place here without some kind of trouble so it was great to see so many people at the conference today.  Croatia still has a long way to go on LGBT issues but it is in a much better place than it was even just a few years ago.  

The chap sitting on the right hand side with the white shirt with the green collar was fro, the Russian LGBT Sports Federation.  He must have the heart of a lion!

For the rest, it was a late night out with the visiting girls, hence the back-blip.......
