Carol Williams

Just back from a recital at St Mary's, Dalmahoy where guest organist the glamorous, Welsh-born Dr Carol Williams of San Diego regaled us with a programme including works by Byrd, Dunstable and Kittel among the classic Bach and Vidor, then let her hair down - literally - and gave us Gershwin, Coates and Sousa. These, with several of her own compositions and humorous anecdotes, made for a delightful evening.

This shows her introducing her encore, a jazzed-up version of Bach's toccata and fugue in D minor. Wonderful.
