My engagement necklace

I told John I didn't want an engagement ring as I wear my 60th ring on my wedding finger. I decided that I would like a necklace with a baguette diamond in it to go with my ring. I told sally what I wanted and she drew it and took the design to a jewellers in the Argyll Arcade in Glasgow. They made it based on the drawing sally made from what I described.

The necklace is lovely, exactly as I had pictured it in my mind. I will blip myself wearing it in the next few days. We opened a bottle of champagne for a toast to me and John!
