Dan - Electrician's Assistant Extraordinaire

Workmen Series #3

This is Dan, the assistant to our electrician. Because the electric company did not show up today, the inspector did not come, and our electrician and his assistant, Dan, were doing finish work - hanging the dining room chandelier, scones, bedroom fixtures, etc. Dan is a bit of a comic and loves to tell stories while he works. He also has this interesting little habit of talking to himself. It takes some getting used to when he is around. He has never said anything, but I think this is one of many career changes that he has had in his life. He seems a bit of a mad scientist type.

The house is coming together nicely now. The finish carpentry and painting are almost done, and the final sand and polish of the wood floors are done. The carpet has been laid in the basement. Some additional electrical work, touch-ups and window coverings will finish it off. Then, after a thorough cleaning, the facelift will be complete and the house will be ready for pictures and sale. We will probably start the sale process sometime after the holidays.
