Morning View

After several days of rain and gray, the sun came out today. What a beautiful morning. This is a seven image HDR that I created using Nik's HDR Pro 2 plug in. This photo looks best large.

The weather is so beautiful I almost hate to go to an afternoon concert today, except that our soloist is Gil Shaham, world renowned violinist. He'll be playing the Brahms Violin Concerto. Not to be missed! Our "community orchestra" has become so amazingly good that world class soloists are willing to play with it. We've been listening to the Whatcom Symphony Orchestra since we moved here in 1990. It has become so fine! And it is still an all volunteer orchestra with so many dedicated musicians who work so hard. I am proud of them all. We just got a new conductor too. His name is Yaniv Attar, and he was one of four finalists who each directed a concert last year. We were delighted that he was selected from that amazing group of finalists as he was our favorite. If you want to learn more about our orchestra, here is their website.

Changed my mind and put up the color version. Apologize to those of you who already commented.
