Up With The Sun

The sleeper train back to Edinburgh again last night, and arrived just in time for the sunrise. What better way to blow off the cobwebs than a bike ride up Calton Hill and 20 minutes standing in biting cold, waiting for the sun to clear Arthur's Seat? Brilliant. I did notice that the castle caught the sun earlier than Calton Hill, so I'll pop up there one day soon at dawn.

Home again for the children and some well-earned staying-at-home.
