Feeding frenzy

The morning was occupied with house and yard work. Seems there's always lots to be done on the weekends. After raking the garden, I'd gathered a couple bags full of fallen apples. So in the afternoon, another expat friend who is currently on single parent duty came over with her two young children and we carried all the apples out to the nature preserve in the forrest to feed the goats and deer.

The silly creatures would only eat them from our hands through the fence. If the kids threw the apples over the fence, they were left laying on the ground. But press an apple up to the wire and 2-3 goats would be stuffing their noses through and fighting to nibble on the fruit!

Now it's cuddle time with my youngest and Percy Jackson & the Lightening Thief :)
