Hurray! B's car passed its MoT retest.
The garage wanted £150 for parts plus an unknown amount in the hundreds for a power steering recon - plus labour to fit it all.
Ebay and a bit of easy (but almost disastrous when a bolt wouldn't come out but didn't need to when I discovered the wheel bearing was okay) tinkering saw me spending out £60 on parts including £40 on the unused wheel bearing.
Wandered into the Morgan premises whilst I was waiting and had a look around. Interesting museum and more Morgans standing around than you could shake a stick at.
