Sgwarnog: In the Field

The day started and finished with driving rain, but in between it was bright enough to get out on the moor for a couple of hours. I headed over to the Glovershaw corner in search of winter thrushes, but none showed themselves. I flushed a few waders of unknown variety from the boggy pasture, and elsewhere the Kestrels and Goldfinches were out, but otherwise a fairly quiet day.

Walking back along Sconce Lane I admired this lichen in the hedge. And for those of you that admired the nearby Ash House Farm in the summer, there's a for sale sign up outside it.
