Farewell to Whisky

The room now has a picture, a clock and a couple of armchairs, but it's intimidating putting things in there. Everything instantly looks old and shabby. Yes, including me. It'll take time.
Later I cycled down to the boat, and did a bit of power-washing. But to the picture above - I'm getting through a number of bottles of whisky with hardly anything in them. This one was bought for me by my Dad in the aftermath of Hearts Scottish cup win in May 1998 - their first major trophy in 36 years. I was glad he saw it, as he passed away a few months later. Still, 15 years is probably long enough to hold onto it. A wee dram for tonight.
